Wave Glider SV2 End of Sale and End of Life

In early 2015 Liquid Robotics announced end of sale of the Wave Glider SV2, first introduced in 2008. The Wave Glider SV2 has been replaced by the Wave Glider SV3. Proven in the water since 2013, the Wave Glider SV3 is now the most widely deployed autonomous ocean surface platform, providing improved station keeping, increased power, greater payload capacity, and optimizations designed to better support fleet operations.

SV2 End of Sale and End of Life Important Dates

• December 31st, 2015- Last day for new Wave Glider SV2 orders.
• December 31st, 2015- Trade in program for SV2 closed.
• December 31st, 2016- Liquid Robotics provided software support and bug fixes for Wave Glider SV2 through this date.
• December 31st, 2017- Last day to order SV2 spares. After this date spares provided on an “as available” basis.

Liquid Robotics offers a variety of services and components to make the switch easier. Conversion kits and our developer partners are available to help install your SV2 payload into an SV3. Training in the latest technical and operational aspects will ensure your success with the new platform.
