Liquid Robotics®, the leader in long-duration, unmanned ocean robots, today announced the addition of Dr. David McLaren as their Senior Vice President of Engineering. A consumer imaging and technology veteran, Dave brings over twenty years of experience building and leading engineering organizations for innovative companies such as GoPro and Cisco Systems. This position comes at a time when the Company is experiencing rapid growth across its customer base, adding new strategic talent, and expanding its global operations.
In his role, Dave will be responsible for managing all aspects of Liquid Robotics’ engineering organization and will play a major role in directing the Company’s technology and product development. He will report directly to Roger Hine, the Company’s Co-Founder, Chief Technology Officer, and inventor of the Wave Glider®, the world’s first wave and solar powered ocean robot.
